Shanghai Library Creates Massive Chinese Genealogy Index

Today's Shanghai Daily reports that the Shanghai Library has created a master index to its massive genealogy collection. It houses the largest genealogy collection in China. The index includes millions of names and will be published in a series of books this year. Planning is already underway to put the index online and make it searchable from anywhere in the world.
